The challenge
A service can be delivered successfully and still depend too heavily on knowledge carried by experienced people. As the team and client work grow, small ambiguities multiply: how decisions are made, what good looks like, how exceptions are handled and how client communication stays consistent.
The system
I documented the SEO service in an 80-page manual and built a supporting system of templates, tutorials, FAQs and client-communication resources. The work captured the delivery process while also making recurring expectations, decisions and explanations easier for the team to navigate.
The role of operations and learning
A manual alone does not create capability. The resources were useful because they formed part of a wider operating environment: team leadership, day-to-day delivery, feedback, examples and the practical realities of client work.
What the project demonstrates
Documentation becomes more valuable when it captures the service as a connected system and supports the moments where people need to decide, explain or deliver. The result is not merely a repository. It is infrastructure for more repeatable work.
